• A seashell isn’t an animal – It’s a portable home for a wide variety of animals. The animals that naturally live in these homes are molluscs.

Fun Facts about Lobsters:

•  Lobsters can live as long as 100 years.
• Lobsters taste with their legs via chemosensory hairs that identify food.
• They also chew food with “teeth” located in their stomachs, which are right behind the eyes and about the size of a walnut.
• Lobsters are cannibals. When food is scarce they are known to dine on smaller lobsters.
• Lobster blood is clear. When cooked it turns into a whitish gel.
